OVERVIEW
Marymount College’s campus was expanding to keep up with its student population, so Herron Coorey was chosen to deliver efficiently and effectively. Herron Coorey tendered, and was selected to construct a new secondary school for Marymount College.
HOW WE HELPED
The works entailed the construction of a new three-storey technology building, which housed: junior kitchens, hospitality kitchens, a dining room, a staff room, general learning areas, and CAD, digital learning, and robotics learning areas.
External works included four multi-purpose sports courts, covered locker facilities, and new padmount transformer works – a challenging project considering the school’s base on a floodplain.
The completion of this project was valued at $12.2m, and took a duration of 52 weeks. The project was finished in 2022.
Herron Coorey collaborated with the architects at Architectus, and the mechanical engineers at MultiTech Solutions to build functional and safe spaces at Marymount College.
