OVERVIEW
Herron Coorey tendered, and was selected to construct Stage B works in 2015, and Stage C works in 2017 at Ambrose Treacy College.
HOW WE HELPED
The two stages of construction works included six new general learning buildings with specialty classrooms for hospitality, industrial technology and design, and woodworking. A second library was constructed with a tuckshop and adjacent, a new multi-purpose sports hall with a new carpark with a drive through drop-off zone.
Furthermore, this project required significant relocation of services in order to expand the school’s external infrastructure, and widen the surrounding roads with the installation of new traffic signals.
The completion of this project, including both its stages, was valued at $23.4m, and took a duration of 32, and 48 weeks respectively. Stage B was finished in 2016, and Stage C was finished in 2018.
Herron Coorey was in partnership with the architects at Fulton Trotter, the structural engineers at Bligh Tanner, the mechanical engineers at Ashburner Francis, and the civil engineers at Cardno to build the new learning spaces at Ambrose Treacy College.
