OVERVIEW
Following the heavy rain event in February 2022 that affected the highly susceptible to flooding region of Lismore, Herron Coorey was engaged to undertake the mammoth task of flood clean-up and store rebuild works at the BWS Cool Rocks Drive location.
HOW WE HELPED
Due to the damage caused by the intensity of the flood water, the entire store had to be stripped out and reconstructed from scratch. This project included the demolition, removal, and reinstalling of the cold room, all shelving, lighting, painting, fridges, floor, signage, and associated external works.
This project was engaged upon a cost-plus contract, and its completion was valued at $1.3m. It took a duration of 8 weeks, and was finished in 2022.
Herron Coorey was honoured to be able to reestablish this BWS store, and help a community in its time of need.
